Mo Salah made a late charge for man of the match status with a six-minute second-half hat-trick at Ibrox, a record time, as reported in an OptaJoe tweet.
6 – Mo Salah has scored a hat-trick with just six minutes and 12 seconds between his first and third goals, the fastest in UEFA Champions League history. Flash of lightning. pic.twitter.com/cuZ2YquoiF

Liverpool had started poorly in Scotland, conceding goals early after allowing Scott Arfield to gain acres of space to take a first game for Rangers, although they recovered magnificently in the final 45 minutes to produce a world-class display.
There’s no doubt the hosts weren’t in the races at the time, although it’s a result that will hopefully provide the Reds with a huge confidence boost ahead of Manchester City’s visit at the weekend.
